The United States Canoe Association has put together a "Worldwide Paddling Calendar." This is a great resource online for both race participants and race promoters to get information about a race. There is no cost to posting a race if you are a promoter and as a racer, you can search many different regions on any date if you are a paddler. Here is the link to the site:

This is not an exhaustive of each and every event out there, but at the present time, it is the best there is. I would encourage racers and race promoters to use it. The more the site is used, the better it will be for everyone.
